What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional nursing care in the operating room environment
- Assist in patient assessments and prepare patients for surgery
- Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Utilize nursing process to implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient information
- Participate in unit activities aimed at improving patient care quality and safety
What You Need:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Prior OR nursing experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good judgment and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting and standing for extended periods
