Director, Continuous Improvement

For our client, we are seeking a Director Continuous Improvement to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a Energy & Utilities environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually Responsibilities Champion and deploy Lean philosophy across all functions and manufacturing sites Support organization in achieving SQDCG and financial objectives via RBS tools Develop and drive divisional Continuous Improvement Roadmap Lead the creation and oversight of annual X-Matrix and deployment plan Connect operational improvements to financial outcomes Participate in hiring and coaching continuous improvement leaders Lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Advanced degree preferred (MS Engineering, MBA) 8-10 years relevant work experience across Continuous Improvement, Business Systems, or Operations (global and/or multi‑site experience preferred) Familiarity with Policy Deployment and its facilitation/implementation Technical expertise in continuous improvement methodology and framework Proven ability to apply multiple CI tools (e.g., Lean Leadership, Value Stream Mapping) Demonstrated success facilitating Kaizen-type events Strong critical thinking skills with attention to detail and organizational capabilities Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Coverage Spending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA) Paid Time Off and Holidays 401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer Contributions Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance Paid Leaves Tuition Assistance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
