Job Description
D-Skilled Staffing LLC is currently seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for an industrial metal fabrication opportunity in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
We are looking for a skilled, mechanically inclined individual with hands-on experience setting up and operating AMADA CNC press brake machinery, preferably the AMADA HRB1303 .
The ideal candidate must be capable of reading blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, making machine adjustments, and producing accurately formed metal components according to manufacturing specifications.
This is a skilled CNC press brake position. Candidates with hands-on setup experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate AMADA CNC press brake equipment, including the HRB1303 or comparable machines.
- Bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing work orders.
- Select and install appropriate press brake tooling based on material type, thickness, bend requirements, and specifications.
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure accurate bends, proper angles, and consistent finished-part quality.
- Inspect materials and finished products for dimensional accuracy and manufacturing defects.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and tape measures, to verify specifications and tolerances.
- Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) when inspecting manufactured parts.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment or production issues and report mechanical problems.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and production teams to meet manufacturing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hands-on CNC press brake operating experience.
- Experience setting up and operating AMADA CNC press brakes or comparable equipment.
- Ability to independently perform machine setups and tooling changes.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles and dimensional inspection.
- Ability to accurately use calipers, tape measures, and other basic measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the required first-shift schedule.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the AMADA HRB1303.
- Previous metal fabrication or sheet-metal manufacturing experience.
- Experience adjusting press brake settings and troubleshooting bend accuracy.
- Experience performing quality inspections and verifying manufacturing tolerances.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay of $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Consistent first-shift schedule, Monday–Friday.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance plan options advertised as available from the first day, subject to eligibility.
- PTO and paid holidays after 90 days, subject to assignment and benefit eligibility.
