Competitive Pay Based on Experience Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program Stable, Year-Round Employment Supportive Leadership Team Career Growth Opportunities Positive Team Environment Meaningful Work Serving Seniors Beautiful, Professional Work Environment What You'll Be Doing Floor Care & Community Appearance Operate commercial floor machines throughout the community Clean and maintain flooring in common areas Perform routine floor care projects as assigned Monitor equipment performance and report concerns Perform minor maintenance and repairs to floor equipment when able Trash & Waste Management Daily removal of trash from common area trash rooms Daily removal of trash from trash chutes Collection of trash and debris throughout the campus Maintain cleanliness and organization of disposal areas General Community Support Complete touch-up painting projects in common areas Assist Housekeeping and Maintenance teams as needed Support community-wide projects and special assignments Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Resident Apartment Transfers Assist residents with apartment relocations Box and transport resident belongings Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed Set up resident apartments after transfer Work with residents and families to ensure a smooth moving experience What Makes a Great Floor Technician at Spring Haven? Qualifications Preferred Experience Commercial floor care Floor machine operation Environmental services Housekeeping Janitorial services Senior living communities Apartment communities Hotels and hospitality Healthcare facilities Commercial buildings Additional experience is a plus Floor machine maintenance and repair Interior painting Apartment turns Moving and furniture assembly Light maintenance work Customer service Commercial cleaning equipment Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous floor care, housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance, or environmental services experience preferred Ability to safely operate commercial cleaning equipment Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work throughout the day Strong work ethic and attention to detail Professional attitude and appearance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent customer service skills Additional Requirements Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check Ability to pass a drug screen Required Notice Each specified agency must include a clear and conspicuous link to the webpage on its website and provide the link in all job vacancy advertisements and posts by the qualified entity.
