As a Security Officer Site Screener in Jeffersonville IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location where you will help monitor access points screen visitors and employees and support a professional welcoming this role you will remain visible respond to security-related concerns and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors employees and/or contractors by following site-specific policies screening procedures and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points and perform screening activities for people bags packages and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols for a technology-focused environment.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support access control functions by verifying credentials directing approved visitors and helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or sensitive areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned while observing for security-related issues facility concerns and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
