Assistant Director OF Finance

The Assistant Director of Financial Management leads the Central Business Office under the Deputy Chief of Administrative Services, overseeing the development and administration of annual operating and capital budgets exceeding $450 million, payroll operations for over 2,600 employees, accounts payable and receivable, financial analysis and forecasting, grants management, fleet management, and procurement. The role manages financial planning programs, develops program evaluation methods, oversees multi-year strategic plans, and coordinates with departmental and legislative officials on financial matters. Three years' experience in financial administration including budget analysis, financial planning, and cash flow management Three years' experience in interpreting and analyzing financial reports Six months experience in strategic planning with focus on objectives, strategies, and performance measures Six months experience in operations management with planning and coordination through supervisory staff Legal authorization to work in the United States Satisfactory criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing required #J-18808-Ljbffr
