JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Lead Person is responsible for leading the facility maintenance system, including:

• Spare parts inventory
• Maintenance planning
• Procurement
• Vendor management
• Training and development of maintenance technicians

This role provides technical leadership while helping ensure equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead team huddles and collaborate during daily production meetings
• Participate in Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and provide equipment status updates
• Develop predictive and preventative maintenance programs
• Coordinate repair transactions and research parts
• Obtain quotes and identify alternative solutions
• Confirm spare parts inventory accuracy
• Coordinate purchasing of new and replacement parts with the fellow team lead
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials in spare parts inventory and on manufacturing lines
• Conduct equipment failure analysis, document findings, and report results to the supervisor
• Maintain subject matter expertise across multiple plant areas and equipment
• Train and develop maintenance technicians on equipment and procedures
• Mentor technicians, provide constructive feedback, and communicate performance issues to management
• Keep maintenance shops and spare parts areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety initiatives
• Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personal work practices
• Immediately report injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain the knowledge and experience expected of a Level II Maintenance Technician
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma required
• At least 5+ years of maintenance and electrical experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment

This is an indoor manufacturing environment that can be fast-paced and requires working around operating equipment.
