Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities. Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Assess patient conditions, document findings, and respond to emergencies following protocols. Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN. Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret telemetry data and perform fine motor tasks. Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures.
