HVAC Technician

Argyle, United States | Posted on 04/08/2026 A professional HVAC technician working under a licensed HVAC Contractor and Director of Service to complete new construction, remodel, and/or service HVAC. Assemble, install, repair, and test heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and components in accordance with blueprints, job specifications, and applicable mechanical codes. To perform this job successfully, employees will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently. Qualifications Valid driving license Job Duties and Responsibilities Support CR Plumbing, Air & Electric’s vision and mission statements and adhere to all company policies. Demonstrate proficiency of CR Plumbing, Air & Electric’s Protocol Book and CR Plumbing, Air & Electric’s Price Book. Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information. Team player with the ability to motivate others in a positive manner. Knowledge and proficiency with basic tools. Carry out regular maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems at commercial and residential sites. Perform installation of HVAC systems at new properties. Inspect previously installed HVAC systems at commercial and residential sites. Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems. Answer calls for HVAC issues from general contractors. Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various HVAC systems a company installs and maintains. Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections. Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction. Communicate well with team members and fellow employees. Manage a work log. Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites. Physical Demands and Work Environment Employees must be able to stand, sit, lay, climb, and reach with fingers, hands, and arms while using tools, equipment, or technology in small and narrow workspaces. Employees must be able to hear and communicate verbally while simultaneously performing job‑related activities. Employees must be able to see close up, at a distance, and have the ability to shift focus rapidly while completing tasks. Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
