Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Device Clinic position requiring pacemaker/ICD technician experience and recent Epic charting experience.

Details

• Outpatient Device Clinic setting
• Patient population consists of adult cardiac patients (18+) with implanted cardiac devices
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, no weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• No float or charge requirements

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Pacemaker/ICD Technician program completion or equivalent job experience required
• CCDS or CDRMS certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required within the last 2 years
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology required

Additional Information

• Perform independent technical management of implanted cardiac rhythm management devices including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and implanted loop recorders
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
• Accepts local candidates
• Radius-based pay rate applies for candidates living 51-100 miles away, with local rate for those within 50 miles
