Right At Home In Home Care, located in Wallingford CT is currently seeking Homemakers/Home Health Aides for jobs in the Middle CT area. The ideal candidate should have 6 months of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience.

Requirements of the Caregiver:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable Transportation
• Valid Driver's license and auto insurance
• High School diploma or GED
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• Must have basic computer skills and navigate with little assistance from others

Nice to Have's:

• CNA or HHA Certification
• 6 months of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare preferred
• Covid Vaccination
• CPR and First Aid Certification

You don't mind getting a little dirty...this could include (but not limited to) assistance with eating, personal hygiene, assistance with dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household chores.
You don't have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.
You are able to assist the client in many ways, this could include (but are not limited to), medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, dementia care, companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.   Compensation: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
