Westchester Hills Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of seasonal part-time Bartender. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to our members and their guests. Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00 per hour plus service charges. Key responsibilities of the bartender include stocking the bar, mixing and serving alcoholic beverages, assisting in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records. Additionally, the bartender must maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed. Compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management is also required. The bartender will communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager, perform opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking. They will also be accountable for checks and cash transactions, utilize the Point of Sales System, review banquet schedules for changes, calendar of events, and special events, serve catered parties from service or portable bars, occasionally serve meals to guests, incorporate safe work practices in job performance, and perform other duties as required.

Minimum qualifications for the bartender include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol. Other qualifications include knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties, and Alcohol Awareness Training.
