The Personal Caregiver plays an essential role in supporting elderly clients by providing compassionate, hands-on assistance with daily living activities. As part of a caregiving team, this role requires daily travel to clients' homes to deliver services tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The caregiver utilizes mobile app reporting tools to communicate and document care effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks including hygiene and grooming
- Provide medication assistance as directed
- Support client mobility and transfer needs
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment
- Use mobile app tools for reporting and communication
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in personal caregiving
- Proficiency in personal care assistance and medication management
- Knowledge of patient safety standards
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Experience providing emotional support
