This position is responsible for face-to-face instruction in the Industrial Maintenance short-term certificate at our partner correctional institution: London Correctional – London, Ohio The starting pay for Adjunct Faculty is $1,046 per credit hourassigned to teach. This position is open only to applicants who residein Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky, or who are able to perform workwithin one of these states. Principal Accountabilities Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by thedepartment Plan and organize instruction in ways which maximize studentlearning Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections inaccordance with department and divisional policies Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies, useavailable instructional technology when appropriate Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategiesto meet diverse student’s needs Support classroom and online efforts to promote studentsuccess Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promotelearning Maintain accurate records of student progress Submit final grade rosters according to establisheddeadlines Maintain confidentiality of student information Adjunct Faculty cannot be assigned to teach more than themaximum of 12 credit hours per semester Requirements Minimum of an associate’s degree in electronics engineering,electronics engineering technology, a related area, OR must meetthe specific requirements associated with Tested Experience.
