Per Diem Mammography TechnologistMass General Brigham is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Per Diem Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Rowley, MA. In this role, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering accurate imaging services in accordance with established clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and quality guidelines.Essential Responsibilities:Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.Operate mammography and related imaging equipment safely and effectively.Position patients appropriately and utilize immobilization techniques when necessary to obtain optimal images.Select appropriate technical factors to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.Evaluate images for technical and diagnostic quality and obtain additional views as needed.Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies following infection control and aseptic practices.Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and provide reassurance throughout the imaging process.Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort while delivering compassionate care.Accurately document patient information and examination details in the electronic medical record and imaging systems.Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Preferred:ARRT Mammography Certification [ARRT(M)] or ability to obtain within one year of hireMassachusetts Mammography License or ability to obtain within one year of hireAssociate's DegreeOne year of mammography experienceBLS (Basic Life Support)Required:2-3 years of experienceHigh School DiplomaPosition Highlights:Per diem schedule with flexible hoursMonday–Friday coverage 8:00 am to 5:00 pmNo weekends or holidays requiredFree on-site parkingSupportive team environment focused on patient-centered careJoin a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional breast imaging services and improving the health and well-being of our communities.Work Location: 414 Haverhill StPay Range: $40.40 - $45.36/HourlyGrade: 5At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
