Our clinical department at North Spring Behavioral Healthcare is welcoming a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychologist to assist our residential team by providing psychological assessments as dictated by the treatment plan and within a timeframe established by facility policy, psychotherapy and clinical care services for residents ages 7 to 17 and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing psychological assessments as dictated by the treatment plan and within a timeframe established by facility policy
• Providing psychotherapy services for residents to include individual, family and group therapy
• Scheduling and facilitation of treatment team reviews and documentation
• Attending all treatment teams for assigned residents
• Attending weekly/monthly clinical supervision as assigned
• Providing weekly clinical supervision as assigned
• Approximately, 80% to 100% of psychological evaluations are completed for the facility (dependent on clinical caseload)
• Coordinating multifamily/group/family education group
• Must be available for staff training On call/weekend coverage for clinical services

Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Psychology or related field
• At least one-year recent experience in a residential setting with appropriate population preferred
• Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Combination of mental health experience and relevant education to deliver psychotherapy service to consumers
