Our Ambient team includes experienced professionals who focus on cost-effective solutions for our clients.Job DescriptionRole: Accounts Receivable SpecialistThe MIH team consists of experienced industry-leading professionals, focused on logistical, energy and cost-effective solutions to our clients. We are currently looking for a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team!Responsibilities:Invoice Management: Prepare and send invoices to clients promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.Cash Application: Apply customer payments accurately and timely.Payment Collection: Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable, contacting clients as necessary to ensure timely payments.Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to client billing and payments.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, aging analysis, and collections efforts for management review.Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding their accounts.Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations, updating procedures as necessary to maintain compliance.State Sales Tax: Work with customers on sales tax eligibility and ensure state sales tax is applied correctly on invoices.Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation.Other job duties and special projects as assigned.Requirements:5+ years of accounting related experience5+ years in the HVAC service environment (preferred)Working knowledge of Business Central Systems (preferred)General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Excellent Microsoft Suites skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (preferred)Detail-oriented and accurate data entry skillsOrganized, self-motivated team playerClear oral and written communication skillsAbility to keep confidentiality and maintain high level of integrityEstimated Salary: $38/hr - $43/hr, with flexibility based on experience and skills.Ambient Enterprises provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
