DutiesHelpEvaluate imaging test results for the purposes of diagnosis, patient care, research and education.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team consisting of direct and indirect patient care professionals to include diagnostic imaging staff, x-ray technicians, laboratory staff, and referring clinical team and providers.Evaluate imaging results and consult with the interdisciplinary clinical and research staff regarding findings, to assist and direct clinical care plans, and achieve clinical and research objectives.Consult with the requesting clinical provider before a procedure is done, deciding on the procedure and ensuring the minimization of the invasion of the patient.Provide consultation, report of the radiologic diagnostic examination, delivering interpretation of the study and the diagnosis of the radiographic examination to the clinician.Provide training in the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology to Radiology residents, other Department physicians and the medical students.Assist with formulation of plans and procedures for assigned services; coordinate radiological services with other medical activities
