Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

We are looking for a skilled, self-reliant Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our residents.

The Schedule

• Hours: Typically 8:00 AM/9:00 AM to 5:00 PM/6:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

• Note: Daily end times may fluctuate slightly depending on the specific job load and project completion for that day.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, the bulk of your work will be outdoors, focusing on high-quality, light exterior and interior property maintenance for residential condos. No major electrical or plumbing work is required.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Light Carpentry & Exterior Repairs: Wood replacement, trim work, gutter repairs, and full gutter replacements.

• Masonry & Roofing: Light cement work, tuck-pointing, and identifying/patching minor roof leaks.

• Light Electrical (Exterior): Swapping out photo cells and replacing outdoor security lights.

• Interior Touch-ups: Drywall patching, prepping, and painting as needed.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all work is completed safely, cleanly, and up to company standards.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate is a true "jack-of-all-trades" who takes pride in their craftsmanship and can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Experience: Proven experience in light property maintenance, carpentry, or residential remodeling.

• Equipment: Must own a reliable truck, ladders, and a comprehensive set of personal hand/power tools necessary to complete the tasks listed above.

• Physical Ability: Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and capable of safely climbing and working on ladders up to at least 2 stories high .

• Reliability: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to travel between job sites in Wayne and Oakland counties.

• Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a polite demeanor when interacting with condo residents and property managers.
