3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation department, focusing on individuals with neurological diagnoses and other rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation.
• Conduct assessments including Patient Health Questionnaire History and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations).
• Carry out patient care tasks like dressing changes and setting up sterile procedure trays.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen labeling.
• Engage in telephone triage and manage pharmacy calls/refill requests.
• Provide care to patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and generalized debility.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6, with variations based on unit requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehab experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC charting system experience is mandatory.
• Active RN license must be in hand at the time of application.
• Candidates must have experience managing 6 patients and be able to adapt to increased ratios as needed.
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be considered.
