Whataburger Porter - Team MemberTeam Members are responsible for exhibiting a friendly and enthusiastic attitude while performing job assignments, caring for guests and fellow Team Members, and maintaining the company's operational quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards. As a Porter - Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a clean and welcoming environment to enjoy their meal and assist in food safety procedures as requested.Job SummaryGreet guests with enthusiasm and provide exceptional hospitalityMaintain a clean work environment following safety and sanitation guidelinesPerform detail cleaning of lobby, restrooms, outside area, and back of houseScrub parking lotsClean vents and hoodsDeep clean ceiling, walls, windows, floors, equipmentClean dumpster areaAssist in restocking as neededAssist with putting away food orders and follow FIFOTake food temperatures per guidelines when receiving ordersCommunicate any safety and security problems to the managerFollow company guidelines and proceduresFollow the porter cleaning programPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.RequirementsFriendly and outgoing personality Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to learn Excellent communication and organizational skills Familiarity with restaurant sanitation and safety regulations Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment Problem-solving and conflict management abilities A willingness to learn and to grow with the company Preferred availability for weekends and holidays Physical Requirements · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. · Must be able to stand during entire shift · Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push · Must be able to read (orders on tickets, menu board, receipts, etc.) · Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items · Frequent washing of handsAbout Us Whataburger is more than a burger chain.
