This role is an essential component of our multidisciplinary treatment team, where the Therapist will provide critical support to individuals facing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will hold an independent license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), equipped with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients, focusing on their specific mental health needs and treatment goals.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring alignment with each patient's unique requirements.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment notes, adhering to departmental standards for quality and clarity.

  • Provide compassionate support and crisis management to clients when required, ensuring both physical and emotional safety.

  • Advocate for client needs and coordinate with external services when necessary to enhance patient care.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in mental health therapy.

  • Implement therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or family systems therapy, based on individual client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will serve a diverse population, encompassing individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients towards healthier coping strategies and improved emotional well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions.

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

  • Licensing: An active and independent therapist license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) issued by the state of California is essential. Note that limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, diagnose, and devise effective treatment plans based on client assessments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate nature suitable for working with diverse populations.

  • Proficient computer literacy to manage telehealth platforms, documentation, and client records efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working in a telehealth setting or familiarity with virtual therapy practices is highly desirable.

  • Two or more years of clinical experience providing therapy to clients with various mental health issues.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices relevant to common psychological disorders.

  • Experience with crisis intervention and management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a highly competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
