Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) for a 13-week contract position in Albany, Oregon. The RN will provide family-centered nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care.

This position requires strong maternal-newborn assessment skills, collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, and the ability to provide safe and responsive nursing care throughout the childbirth experience.

Responsibilities

Assess maternal and newborn patients and develop individualized nursing plans of care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition during labor and delivery.
Provide postpartum and newborn nursing care, including ongoing assessment, education, recovery support, and discharge preparation.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate safe, family-centered obstetric care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic and participate in required night, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Requirements

Active, Unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License Required at Time of Submission.
Minimum 1 Year of Registered Nursing / LDRP Experience Required.
Current Healthcare Provider Level BLS Certification Required.
Current American Heart Association ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications Required.
S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification Preferred; Ability to Work Night Shifts, Every 3rd Weekend, and Holiday Coverage Required.

The LDRP Registered Nurse will provide compassionate, evidence-based maternal and newborn nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
