Hampton Inn Western Ave is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team! Were seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead ongoing sales efforts in Schenectady, NY.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background and an eagerness to win. This role requires a self-motivated candidate who enjoys the outbound sales process, is able to display tremendous leadership qualities, possesses strong customer service skills, as well as proven negotiating skills, and has the ability to execute administrative sales tasks. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive room revenue, group bookings, and corporate accounts.
Lead all sales activities, including market positioning, key account development, and partnership building
Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory management.
Oversee all sales channels, including transient, corporate, group, and consortia.
Maintain strong relationships with local businesses, CVBs, and tourism boards to maximize visibility and bookings.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions.
Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve financial goals. Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in hotel sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Prior experience with Hilton brands is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of revenue management
Strong understanding of CRM software
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred. Why Join Us?
