In-house Litigation Counsel - Transportation Sector

Larson Maddox is partnering with a wellknown and highly respected multi-billion dollar transportation organization in the tri state area that is expanding its legal team. They are searching for personal injury attorneys (encompassing premise liability, mass torts, insurance defense, medical malpractice etc., on the defense side) with 1-8+ years of tort litigation experience, ideally those who have managed a highvolume caseload (70+) and are familiar with New York's local, state, and federal legal landscape.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Handling high volume personal injury and/or property damage claims during all phases of litigation, including hearings, depositions, discovery, substantive and procedural motion practice, court conferences, settlement
negotiations, and trials.
- Evaluating liability, damages, and settlement strategy
- Conducting legal research, drafting motions, and preparing for trial
- Handling witness prep, site inspections, trial components, and posttrial work
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders across departments

- At least 1 year of defense litigation experience required. We are open to candidates across a range of experience levels (multiple head count open).
- NY Bar admission
- Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills
- End to end litigation experience
