Licensed Transmission Engineering Director

Recognized as a high-voltage transmission line design expert, the fully remote Licensed Transmission Engineering Director will lead complex projects, mentor staff, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality utility infrastructure solutions. Key responsibilities Lead transmission design on large and complex projects using design software such as PLS-CADD Create design documents and drawings for new transmission line projects, including specifications and detailed drawings Assign staff to projects, manage resources, and ensure project deliverables are met on schedule Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering; a master's degree is preferred 15+ years of experience in high-voltage transmission line design Licensed professional or structural engineer status is highly advantageous Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., ASCE, IEEE, NESC) Proficiency in PLS-CADD; experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation is a plus
