Preconstruction Manager

Help shape complex, $100M+ projects from the earliest decisions. I’m partnering with an established, privately held national contractor to find a Preconstruction Manager for its Atlanta team. This opportunity combines the resources and project portfolio of a major builder with a family-oriented culture, strong client relationships, and a long-term commitment to its people. The focus is on finding the right person to grow with the business. The opportunity You’ll lead preconstruction strategy and give owners and project teams clear advice on cost, scope, procurement, risk, and delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Developing conceptual estimates and budgets as designs evolve. Leading value engineering, constructability reviews, logistics planning, and schedule optimization. Identifying risks early, particularly in occupied facilities and complex, phased projects. Building trusted relationships with owners, designers, consultants, and trade partners. Mentoring team members and partnering with operations to support a successful handover into construction. What you’ll bring 10+ years of construction industry experience, with strong preconstruction and conceptual estimating capabilities. Experience supporting complex projects valued at $100M+. The confidence to lead client conversations and turn complex information into clear recommendations. A broad project portfolio and the ability to apply lessons learned across different building types. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience across several of the following areas would be particularly valuable: Collegiate, stadium, and athletic facilities Renovations and capital improvement programs Data centers and mission-critical facilities Hospitals and operational healthcare environments Airports and aviation infrastructure Why consider it?
