Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary services team in Memphis, Tennesse e providing high-quality nutrition and dining services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting resident satisfaction, nutritional well-being, and a positive dining experience.

Job Requirements:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Previous dietary management experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to long-term care food service operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a resident-centered focus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, including food production, meal service, sanitation, and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CMS, state health department, and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team to support residents' nutritional needs.
• Develop and maintain menus that meet therapeutic diet requirements and resident preferences.
• Manage department budgets, food purchasing, inventory, and cost controls.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff.
• Monitor food quality, resident satisfaction, and meal service performance.
• Maintain accurate records related to food safety, sanitation, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
