We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding surgical care.As a Registered Nurse at Physician's Surgery Center of Chattanooga, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our patients' surgical experience. You will work closely with our surgical team to provide high-quality care, support, and education to patients and their families throughout their surgical journey.Responsibilities:Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the surgery center.Administer pre-operative medications and ensure patient readiness for surgery.Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns during surgery.Assist the surgical team during procedures and maintain a sterile field.Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage pain control.Educate patients and their families on post-operative instructions and follow-up care.Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and fellow healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Ensure infection control protocols and safety standards are followed.Participate in quality improvement initiatives.Required Skills:Current Tennessee RN license.BLS and ACLS certifications.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative setting preferred.Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
