Nurse Practitioner - NP - Breast Surgery

SSM Health Breast Care ( Breast Care | Bridgeton, MO (3440 DePaul Lane) | SSM Health), located on the SSM Health DePaul Hospital campus in Bridgeton, MO, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to assist with the high-risk breast cancer program.The North County breast health program at SSM Health DePaul Hospital requires the addition of a Nurse Practitioner to maintain and grow the high-risk breast program and preserve patient access.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Experience is preferred, but will review new graduates based on clinical rotation experience.
• Current RN/NP licensure in the State of Missouri or ability to obtain.

Opportunity/Expectations:

• Clinic is open Monday-Friday from 8 am-4:30 pm
• See patients for a variety of breast-related concerns, including those at a higher risk of breast cancer, those with a personal cancer history, breast pain, etc.
• Once onboarding is completed, see 10-12 patients per day in the clinic
• Round on inpatients when the physician is out of town
• Provide patient education and see both post-op patients and annual follow-ups, in addition to new patients that meet the High-Risk Breast guidelines
