GRAPHICS INSTALLATION MANAGER

Position Summary The Graphics Installation Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating Kirkwood's team of graphic installers and installation partners. This role oversees installation scheduling, site inspections, project communication, quality control, outsourced installation resources, and field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate combines strong installation expertise with leadership, project coordination, and customer service skills. This individual will serve as a key resource to both the installation and sales teams, helping to ensure projects are executed successfully from planning through final installation. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and develop a team of graphic installers based out of Wilmington, MA. Establish installation priorities and allocate resources to meet project deadlines. Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide technical guidance, training, and problem-solving support to installation personnel. Project & Schedule Management Develop and manage installation schedules, site inspections, and related field activities. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date installation calendar. Coordinate project requirements with the sales, project management, production, and customer service teams. Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively adjust resources as project needs evolve. Ensure clear communication of project timelines, changes, and expectations to all stakeholders. Installation Operations Review project specifications, site conditions, drawings, measurements, and production details prior to installation. Conduct site inspections and assist with project planning as required. Serve as a technical resource for complex, custom, or unique installation projects. Identify potential installation challenges before work begins and develop practical solutions. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer expectations. Manage outsourced installation partners and subcontractors. Coordinate scheduling, project communication, expectations, and performance reviews. Maintain strong relationships with installation partners to support geographic coverage and project scalability. Quality Control & Process Development Establish and maintain installation quality standards and best practices. Develop pre-installation review and quality control workflows. Ensure complete installations meet Kirkwood standards and client expectations. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to installation efficiency, documentation, and project execution. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic installation, signage installation, branded environments, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of: Adhesive vinyl graphics Wallcoverings and wallpaper Window films Affixed signage systems Floor graphics Environmental graphics and branded environments Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, priorities, and schedules simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead teams and effectively collaborate with sales representatives, project managers, customers, vendors, and installation partners. Proficiency with PC or Mac systems and standard business software applications. Strong understanding of installation tools, techniques, site conditions, and field best practices. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience managing internal installation teams. Experience managing outsourced installation partners and subcontractors. Experience supporting retail, corporate interior, healthcare, education, or commercial graphics projects. Ability to interpret site surveys, drawings, specifications, and installation documentation. Familiarity with quality control standards and installation documentation processes. Experience implementing operational workflows and process improvements. OSHA certification or other safety-related training is a plus. What Success Looks Like In this role, you will: Create a highly organized and predictable installation scheduling process.
