The short version
We're a 25-year-old, 75% repeat-business tree care company in the Greater Seattle area. New leadership took over in 2026 — two operators who know how to run a business and build a culture around good people. Not private equity. Not a conglomerate. Just real owners with a real plan to build the best damn tree care company in the PNW.
We're hiring our second Consultative Sales Arborist because growth is upon us. The reputation is there. The repeat business is there. We need another closer who can consult like a pro, sell like one, and isn't afraid to drum up their own business too.
The math
A strong sales arborist in this seat should be clearing $60K+ in commissions alone on top of base. Self-generated business pays a higher commission rate. Performance bonuses on top. The ceiling is yours to find, especially if you're a hunter.
What you'll do
- Consult with homeowners, property managers, HOA managers, and commercial clients on the best path forward for their trees
- Close the work and stay the customer's point of contact from estimate through completion
- Partner with the crew on scope, scheduling, and execution — true collaboration, no finger-pointing
- Educate customers on what they want, or what they didn't know they wanted until you showed them
- Drum up your own business through referral channels, property managers, HOAs, and community presence
What we're looking for
- ISA-Certified Arborist (required)
- Strong closer who can read a property and a person
- Strong communicator — tight with customers, crew, and office
- Personality. Customers should remember you after you leave the driveway.
- A hunter's instinct. Comfortable generating leads, not just working a list.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, low-ego. Allergic to corporate theater.
- Permitting and TRAQ certification are pluses (we pay TRAQ-certified team members 100% of those assessments)

What we don't offer (yet)
- Straight talk: no traditional corporate health plan or 401(k) today. We're working toward rolling out health, dental, and vision in 2027. In the meantime, we're flexible on total comp to account for the lack of traditional benefits. Tell us what you need and we'll figure it out together.

Compensation
- $70,000–$80,000 base (DOE)
- 6% commission on company-provided leads, uncapped
- Elevated commission rate on self-generated business
- 100% of TRAQ assessment fees for TRAQ-certified team members
- Performance bonus eligible
- Company vehicle, gas, phone, and tech
- W-2, full-time
- Generally Monday through Friday with flex
