Substitute Paraprofessional

Bennington Public Schools is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional. The ideal candidate will provide instructional support to regular and special education instructors.

Requirements:

  • Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: None required.
  • Experience Desired: Previous experience working with children.
  • Other Requirements: Position could be pre-school through 12th grade. Applicant must be flexible, compassionate and willing to help students of all ability levels.

Reports To: Classroom teacher(s)

Receives Guidance From: Building administrator; Assistant/Director of Student Services/Special Education Program

Evaluated By: Elementary Principal

Essential Functions: To provide instructional support to regular and special education instructors.
