Server/Barista

We are a cozy and homy French restaurant in the heart of Los Feliz. Open 7 days a week from 9am-2:30pm, our establishment prides itself on offering a warm feeling of home and delicious cuisine. 

We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic Server/Barista to join our lovely team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for food and hospitality, with a keen eye for details and a heart full of love. 
Experience with French cuisine/ French speaker will be even better. Server/Barista Responsibilities Include:

• Previous experience preparing espresso-based drinks, with the ability to learn and confidently operate our La Marzocco espresso machine and coffee grinder.
• Manage the barista station efficiently while maintaining awareness of the overall flow of service and stepping in to assist servers when business gets busy.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to keep the workflow organized, consistent, and efficient during both busy and slower periods.
• Work collaboratively with the team, communicate effectively, and remain calm and helpful during high-volume service.
• Stay productive during slower periods by proactively completing side work, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and looking for ways to support the team.
• Take initiative and have a mindset of continuous improvement—whether that means developing stronger barista and serving skills, improving guest service, or identifying ways to streamline operations.
• Work closely with management and the rest of the team to identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and overall workflow.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with teammates.
• Complete daily set up and side work tasks.
• Prepare various espresso beverages
• Serve guests in a warm and present fashion, personal connections are the core of a great service experience.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.

Hours: We are currently offering 3 shifts per week for the Barista/Server position . The schedule may evolve over time based on performance, availability, and the needs of the business; however, at this time, we are seeking someone who is available to work three shifts per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year serving experience.
