After school position in a public elementary school that follows the school calendar.

Job details

Location: Taconic Elementary School, Manchester Center, VT

Schedule: 2:40 to 5:00 PM on school days
Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
Payday: Every other Friday
Job type: Part time
Commitment: School year 2026 to 2027

Requirements

• Enjoys working with school age children
• 18 years or older with an associate’s degree or higher

Must also meet ONE of the following:

• 10+ months experience in school-age childcare or youth programming
• Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential
• Vermont Program Director Credential
• Vermont Teacher Licensure
• Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate
• Master’s degree in a youth-related field

• Comfortable working in a structured school setting
• Experience is helpful but not required
