Heritage Insurance is looking for a driven, competitive, and people-focused Sales Team Leader to join our growing organization.

This is a production-first leadership opportunity . You'll begin by building your own book of business through B2B prospecting, cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings with small and medium-sized business owners and key decision-makers. As you develop proficiency in our sales process and demonstrate consistent production, you'll take on additional responsibility for training, coaching, and mentoring new sales representatives while continuing to manage and grow your own business.

What You'll Do Build and Grow Your Own Business

• Prospect for new business through B2B cold calling, referrals, networking, and other lead-generation strategies.

• Meet face-to-face with business owners, managers, and key decision-makers within your assigned territory.

• Conduct needs-based conversations and present supplemental insurance solutions designed to help protect employees and their families.

• Build, manage, and grow your own book of business.

• Develop long-term relationships with business owners, clients, and referral partners.

• Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments with prospective and existing clients.

• Identify opportunities to service existing accounts and expand client relationships.

Develop Into a Sales Leader

• Learn and consistently execute Heritage Insurance's proven sales process.

• Lead by example through personal sales production and professional conduct.

• Participate in scheduled team meetings, training calls, and leadership development sessions.

• Assist with field training for new sales representatives.

• Coach and mentor developing sales professionals through personalized guidance and hands-on support.

• Help new representatives develop prospecting, presentation, communication, and closing skills.

• Provide encouragement, accountability, and leadership to help team members reach their goals.

Manage Your Territory and Performance

• Create and manage your own weekly schedule in coordination with your sales manager.

• Maintain accurate client and prospect information.

• Track daily sales activity, appointments, and performance metrics.

• Respond professionally to client phone calls and emails.

• Consistently work toward individual sales and leadership goals.

Qualifications

• Must already hold a Health & Life insurance producer license or be willing and able to obtain one.

• Licensing reimbursement is available.

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional post-high-school work experience.

• Candidates within 6 months of completing a bachelor's degree may be considered.

• Candidates with less than 4 years of professional experience may be considered if they have relevant or specialized outside sales experience.

• Previous experience in outside sales, B2B sales, business development, insurance sales, territory sales, recruiting, customer acquisition, or sales leadership is preferred.

• Ability to work in an assigned territory and meet with clients in person.

• Full-time

• 8-hour workday
