Key Responsibilities

Network & Telephony Support

• Provide Level 1 technical support and troubleshooting to resolve network and voice/telephony issues promptly.
• Install, maintain, and manage network and telephony equipment under supervision, including phones, routers, LAN switches, wireless access points, servers, backup systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Assist with day-to-day operations to ensure high reliability and security of enterprise voice communications networks, including client hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Help execute routine network maintenance, security configurations, and system upgrades (applying service packs, patches, and hotfixes).
• Manage hardware inventory processes, initiate equipment Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and track replacements through to resolution.

Application Performance & Capacity Monitoring

• Partner with Application Developers to evaluate new application implementations, ensuring they perform within expectations without disrupting existing network services.
• Design, execute, and monitor application performance tests; analyze test data to recommend application design improvements and hardware resource allocations.
• Analyze performance data to establish baseline thresholds for automated system alerting.
• Monitor Windows-based server architecture and identify hardware or software changes that could impact overall performance or capacity.
• Design, produce, and deliver comprehensive performance and capacity reporting to systems management and business partners.
• Present capacity projections and technical insights to help guide future infrastructure planning.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

• Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience working with server systems and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Systems Expertise: Advanced knowledge and practical experience with server capacity planning, server performance tuning, and server performance software tools/support.
• Networking Fundamentals: solid understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wireless configurations, and telephony systems.
• Troubleshooting: Strong Level 1 hardware and software diagnostics and problem-solving skills.
• Maintenance & Operations: Familiarity with patch management, firmware/software updates, inventory tracking, and RMA workflows.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to developers, management, and non-technical business partners.
