Ongoing for 25-26 SY The Buildings & Grounds Department for Bloomington Public Schools pulls from this posting multiple times throughout the year to hire base custodians. Hires happen on an as-needed basis. The posting expires at the end of each school year and re-opens in time for the next school year. Please submit your application. Position:
Base Custodian (On-going/As-Needed)

Hours:
8 hours per day
5 days per week
261 days - 12 months



Requirements:

• Clean and maintain areas of a school building such as sweeping, emptying waste baskets, mopping, vacuuming, minor repairs, setting up for events and take downs
• Prompt, regular and reliable attendance
• Able to lift 60 lbs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Mechanical ability
• Demonstrate written and verbal skills
• Other duties as assigned
