Team Leader

A team leader consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our team leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of operational excellence and our recipe for service. The two main areas of focus for a team leader are completing tasks to make the restaurant run effectively and training/developing team members. Team leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Type of position: Full-time and part-time

Responsibilities of team leader:

• Participate operationally in daily activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to guest needs
• Help in training new employees, set the tone for change, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly and encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead changes, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize the day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

• No prior experience as a shift leader, team leader, supervisor, team leader, restaurant manager, or assistant restaurant manager required, but preferred.
