Multi-Facility Inpatient Coverage in the Scenic South Puget Sound

Are you a Board-Certified Urologist looking for a high-impact, long-term locum tenens opportunity in the Pacific Northwest? A premier health system in Washington is seeking a dedicated surgeon to provide inpatient call coverage across three regional hospitals: St. Joseph Medical Center, St. Anthony Hospital, and St. Clare Hospital . This role offers a robust 24-hour call structure and the opportunity to work within a highly supported surgical environment.

This is a cross-credentialed role where you will support three facilities ranging from a Level 4 to a Level 1 Trauma Center. You will be an essential part of a collaborative team consisting of two other physicians, five RNs, and three APPs who handle inpatient rounding and initial ER triage during day shifts.

• Clinical Scope: Manage general urology consults (average 6 8 per day) and emergent surgical cases. Elective or non-emergent cases are typically scheduled for the following day.

• Procedural Requirements: Proficiency in Cystoscopy, Lithotripsy, Nephrectomy, Transurethral Resection, Prostatectomy, and Pyelolithotomy is required.

• Surgical Technology: Access to Da Vinci Xi and Si robotic systems with available block time for qualified providers.

• Schedule: 24-hour call shifts with a response time of less than 30 minutes.

• Assignment Duration: Seeking full-time coverage (1.0 FTE) for 6 9 months, starting as soon as credentialed.

• Technology: Fully integrated EPIC EMR across all locations.

• 24-Hour Call Rate: $3,120.00 $3,276.00 per shift (includes 4 hours of gratis patient contact).

• 24-Hour Holiday Rate: $4,855.50 $5,265.00.

• Call-Back: $390.00 $429.00 per hour after gratis hours.

• Holiday Call-Back: $585.00 $643.50 per hour.

• Orientation: $200.85 $204.75 per hour for training beyond 8 hours.

• Travel & Lodging: The facility highly prefers local candidates (no flights). For regional providers, the Marriott Tacoma Downtown is the preferred lodging partner.

To ensure diagnostic and surgical excellence across this multi-site system, candidates must meet the following:

• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Urology.

• Licensure: Active Washington State Medical License is highly preferred. Candidates with an active IMLC LOQ or a WA license in process will also be considered.

• Certifications: Active BLS is required.

• Availability: Must be able to cover 24-hour call and commit to the long-term duration of the assignment.

• Documentation: A current Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the last 30 days) is required at the time of presentation.
