Convenience Store Assistant Manager

Cain Petroleum is looking to hire a Convenience Store Assistant Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of a retail convenience store by performing the following duties:

Education & Experience: One year of related experience and/or training in management, assistant management, or supervisory role is required.

Travel Requirement: This position requires minimal local travel with no overnight stays.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills:

• Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
