Assembler I / Welder I

Submit your completed application at keithwalkingfloor.com/current openings Essential Functions Assemble components and hardware in a prescribed manner using power or hand tools, testing devices, gauges, and other equipment. Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies using welding equipment. Understands proper quality weld standards (including slag removal.) Read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts. Interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements. Perform inspection duties for KEITH Quality Control standards by inspecting grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using precision measuring instruments. Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening. Previous assembly and welding experience preferred. Have a solid understanding of welding equipment and accessories. Able to read and follow blueprints. Able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level, and square. Must be comfortable and willing to have varied work that may change each day, potentially several times throughout the day. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future. Working Conditions Works in a production shop. Exposed daily to continual noise from machines.
