Early Head Start Teacher Position

We are looking for Early Head Start Teachers for full time year! We are looking to serve in our Rochester location: The Place.

This position is primarily responsible for the classroom and implementing curriculum based on the children and families' needs and interests. This includes, but is not limited to, weekly lesson and activity planning based on approved curriculum, screening children's educational goals and implementing individualized plans.

Qualifications:

The position requires a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree (A.A.) in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Head Start and Families First of Minnesota offers continuing education opportunities for individuals seeking to obtain an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the field of Early Childhood Education. Bilingual applicant preferred, but not necessary.

This exempt position is scheduled 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. with occasional evening events. Compensation is based upon education level, starting at $23.39/hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life, Long-Term Disability and 403(b) Retirement Savings, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and personal holidays.
