Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN or LPN/LVN license in the state of Michigan
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to provide one-on-one care according to the individualized health plan
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with school staff and parents
• CPR certification (current)
• Ability to demonstrate patience, reliability, and sound judgment in fast-paced environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care and support to a high school-aged student on a one-to-one basis during school hours
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by the healthcare provider
• Monitor the student’s health status throughout the day and respond to any medical needs/emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, treatments, and student progress
• Communicate updates with educators, health staff, and the student’s family
• Participate in care plan meetings and support the school’s health initiatives
