We are looking for A017 - Support Services Assistant (Min 10 yrs Exp) HYBRID (In Person interviews)

The position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and works under the close general supervision of the Director, Office of Support Service Division and the team leader. The incumbent will provide a variety of support services including (but not limited to) property management, publishing service, supply management, mail processing and services facilities and equipment maintenance and transportation services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arranges for and provides transportation services to designated staff for essential government business. Ensures that vehicles are clean and prepared for use at all times;
  • Processes agency mail and special packages including receipts, inter-agency routing of courier packages, processing outbound mail by metering or applying postage and deliveries to the US Post Office as required. Provides periodic reports as required.
  • Arranges for such services as printing, publication delivery, in-house reproduction; procurement of general office supplies, distribution and maintenance of stock levels.
  • Reviews stock levels and purges or disposes of items that have exceeded their useful life. Must obtain appropriate approvals before disposing of government assets as required.
  • Compiles and distributes statistical data, maintain service records and receipts; analyse equipment usage and project the needs of equipment and supplies, preparing reports as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of and appropriate levels of all equipment and supplies as required.
  • Maintains records on the possession of administrative property and transportation equipment, government vehicles and disposal of excess property.
