SUMMARY:

This is a seasonal opportunity which will be available from approximately early October thru early February, with potential for permanent placement after the season is complete. We have 8am to 4:30pm shift opportunities available, Monday through Friday. Pay is $20/hour. This position is primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and programs, interacting with and assisting customers, entering customer orders into the system for fulfillment, responding to inquiries about products and services as well as resolving complaints. The Seasonal Customer Service Representative position will be an on-site position at our Northeast Minneapolis Headquarters. This position is also responsible for performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communicates with customers via phone and email, processes orders, answers customer questions and requests. Researches billing, service or quality control concerns and directs the inquiry proper departments for investigation. Ensures proper follow-up. Receives, processes and verifies the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the organizations’ internal systems. Initiates required action for response to order change requests, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate personnel/departments. Represents the company with the highest level of integrity during every external and internal interaction. Interacts effectively with the Customer Service team. Contributes to an environment of support and sharing of ideas. Aims to exceed expectations and create a positive experience with each internal or external customer interaction.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES:

Detail-oriented and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting all applicable deadlines. Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision. Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. Friendly, courteous, professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions provided in written and/or oral form and apply common sense understanding to carry out assigned task. Ability to communicate in both oral and written form with a variety of audiences. Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere for employees and customers. Recognize issues, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

BENEFICIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES:

Clear and conceptual thinking ability is a necessity. Previous account management experience is also a plus. Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented. Remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines. Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision. Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems. Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere for employees and customers. Previous experience in systems including Adobe Commerce/Magento, BlueCherry, and RingCentral also a plus.
