Overview
Join our team as a CDL Driver (Local) in Nash, TX! We are looking for a dedicated and reliable driver to transport goods safely and efficiently within the local area. If you enjoy driving, have a passion for customer service, and want to be part of a supportive team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations within the local area.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records as required.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary info:
$25 - $35 / hr
