The Tech One Program (TOP) is a structured career development program for entry-level wind technicians, created through a partnership between industry leaders Sky Climber Renewables and Vestas Americas. Position Overview TOP Wind Service Technicians receive exclusive safety and technical training accredited through the Global Wind Organization (GWO). Technicians primarily work at a wind site location near home and operate as part of a service team to ensure safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance. This position reports directly to the Program Manager and Site Manager, and indirectly to the Lead Technician during assignments. Technicians are responsible for performing all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generator equipment safely and efficiently. This includes maintaining and repairing machinery or components used primarily in power generation applications such as turbines and generators. Note: Technicians are not certified to perform work inside any cabinet/controller without direct supervision from a certified Electrical Technician. Additional duties may be assigned to support customer needs and to help advance Sky Climber’s mission, values, and long-term vision. This is a full-time paid employment opportunity.
