About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Level 2 ICU, open heart recovery, neuro-surgery, and trauma care. Willingness to float to different units as needed. Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. This is a 225-bed specialty care hospital with various departments including Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. The facility is recognized for its imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. The unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:3 for IMCU. Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, bolt monitoring, vents, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. Patient populations include adult and geriatric. Common diagnoses include post-open heart surgery, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, surgical ICU, post-stroke with lytics, post-cranial surgery, and septic shock. We are looking for a positive team player to join our dynamic team. The dress code requires scrub colors of Galaxy, Royal, or navy blue. Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and open-toed shoes.
