About the Role:

MCP Construction LLC is looking for a experienced skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Wixom, MI! In this critical role, you'll be at the heart of our project pipeline — turning blueprints into winning bids and helping drive the success of every build we take on. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for construction, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and/or Industrial construction projects
• Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop detailed bid packages
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure best value
• Conduct material takeoffs and quantity surveys for all trades
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to align estimates with project execution plans
• Track and maintain bid calendars, deadlines, and proposal submissions
• Identify potential project risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimates

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, bidding, or project management
• Proficiency in estimating software 
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with subs, vendors, and internal teams
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
